Love and Marriage can be wonderful when entered into with a compatible partner. If you are certain you’ve found a partner you trust to be as committed as you are to conflict resolution, growth, intimacy and communication, you should consider yourself blessed. Walking on egg-shells should not be common-place in a marriage. If you can be yourself without fear of a negative reaction, the relationship is healthy. Companionship is a blessing not reserved for married couples so don’t rush into marriage for the sake of companionship. Marriage can be a lonely experience. This is true. Believe it. What our focus should be is the relationship. Does yours lift you up and facilitate growth? Have fun! It’s your life. Off course nothing is perfect but it shouldn’t be broken. In all your efforts, seek wholeness.

Does yours lift you up and facilitate growth?

Just today my facebook status says in the words of Silomo Ntombela, ‘A great man (partner/ husband) and vice versa should challenge you, elevate you, inspire you, groom you and challenge you always. So one is consistenly evolving.

And that is what I imagine a relationship in a marriage should do!!!

What are your thoughts?
